Since we changed our route at the Grand Canyon at short notice, we ended up in Hurricane again to make up for our hike to Angels Landing, where we spent the first night at Free Camping on Public Land. This is simply a bulge on a dirt road.
The next day we rented a jet ski at Sand Hollow. It was really awesome! Until a strong thunderstorm with extremely heavy rainfall and even fingernail-sized hailstones interrupted our trip multiple times and eventually even ended it completely.
This knee-deep water is a 'puddle of rain'.
The highway, which is about 100 meters to the right, was completely closed as it was so heavily covered in sand that the cars got stuck.
We then decided to postpone Angels Landing for another day in order to be able to make use of the remaining jet ski hours the next day.
