The Cataratas (waterfalls) form the border between Argentina and Brazil, which is why you can visit them from both sides. Today we wanted to see the waterfalls from the Brazilian side and had again booked the tickets in advance so that we could get there early. We took the public bus again, this time to the border, where the Argentinian authorities confirmed our exit. However, it was not necessary to enter Brazil and we could drive straight through to the park on the Brazilian side. Once we got there, we took the bus through the park to the starting point of the hiking trail. This time too we had a wonderful view of the waterfalls, this time from a little further away but no less impressive.
From the Brazilian side we also had the opportunity to visit the lookout to the “Devil's Throat”, which was not accessible on the Argentinian side. The footbridge went far into the river and the wind and the rising mist guaranteed a cooling down again today.
Since it was getting quite crowded and we had walked all the paths, we headed home around midday. In the afternoon we settled back on the roof terrace, enjoying the sun and the benefits of the pool bar.
