Such a day at sea

It's actually meant for relaxing and exploring the ship. Well, for us it was a little different this time. The ladies had to struggle with the rather strong sea (in glorious sunshine) and some were able to spend the day in their cabins.

I have never experienced anything like that on all my trips, but from what I've heard, many experienced cruisers have had the same experience. The pool was in a good swell, so the carpets on deck 12 were also affected. We arrived in Funchal shortly before midnight, so at least I was fit again. To finish off, we had a little snack in the Day and Night Bistro - you had to eat something sometimes.
