Prepared for a night corresponding to the weather forecast with the need for body heat exchange, we were woken up in the morning by warm, radiant sunshine. The lake really sparkled in the orange light. That lifts the mood, increases the desire, I can only say that. Apart from the broken air conditioning in the tent. No problem in North Cape weather. But then you can clearly feel the difference between an herbal sauna and a Finnish sauna. We really had to sweat. By the way, there is also a notable difference whether you come across a moose on the road or if you are blocked by a whole herd of them. Those were real specimens that caused a traffic jam today. There was honking and an anxious female driver was even about to nudge a moose or two with her small car. But with over forty moose, that's rather hopeless, and she promptly had the antlers of a colleague carefully placed on her hood. We were able to admire the herd for over 15 minutes, casually standing in the middle of the road and looking a bit stupid. Those guys have time. Quite the opposite for us. We had planned to get as far south as possible. The north is spectacularly scenic, but you just become a bit immune over time. That's why we were thrilled and also glad when finally a local (the hair and skin color left no doubt about that) confidently approached the animals and clapped a lively rhythm with his hands. The moose said goodbye in a gallop and our journey continued. To celebrate the day, we had grilled pork tenderloin. Boy, was it delicious!
