Today we were allowed to sleep until shortly after 7, then we took the obligatory walk with the smallest one after breakfast.
Shortly afterwards we hopped back on our bicycles and headed towards the city center. There we first visited the Round Tower and then the Christiansborg Palace, as well as the attached and impressive chapel. Unfortunately, we could not visit the tower of the 'castle' as it was being renovated. So we made our way to Rosenborg Castle, where the little king had a meal in the royal gardens. We expected the guards to march out and head to Amalienborg for the changing of the guard. Unobtrusively, we followed (and 200 other tourists) the procession and watched the spectacle on the large square in front of the royal family's residence with anticipation. Unfortunately, there was no royal member in the house, so there was no musical accompaniment.
Afterwards, there was a play stop for Finn, who made friends with a little Asian boy and his mother without having to say a word. A smile and laughter are understood in every language.
Then we visited the Guinness World Record Museum (no changing facilities), where we could admire all sorts of crazy records. The most impressive ones were: 72 hours standing on one leg, a 486kg man, and a cat doing 20 tricks in one minute (almost as exciting as the biggest potato).
Then we rode home against the wind, watched the Women's Football World Cup final. The loser of the bet on the result (Dad) had to wash the dishes and do the laundry in and out of the dryer.
