After the mountains were covered in clouds at 6 o'clock, we went back to sleep and almost missed breakfast. Our host is still experimenting with us, so today we had Tibetan bread, porridge, and boiled eggs. In the morning, the sky cleared up and we started our first hike on the mountain ridge near our accommodation. We went through jungle-like forest and from the top, we had a good view of Pokhara and Phewa Lake, as well as the surrounding valleys. Suddenly, the sky cleared up a bit and the summit of Maccapuchare appeared 5 km above us! Incredible! At the very top, a Hindu temple was rebuilt by hand. The mortar for the stones was carried up by a group of women... In the evening, we had plenty of Dhal Bhat and a campfire.
