3.6.19 Thank you Wind - no stop in Inverness

Hüt is Invergordon plant, Scottish Highlands.

For this purpose, we also rented a car. The weather is very nice, no waves, light wind. We get up on time, have breakfast and wait for the ship to depart from the harbor... ... but it doesn't work out. The ship has to turn back a few hundred meters earlier. Too much wind sets in earlier than expected. The captain keeps giving us updates.

In the end, the decision is made to drive directly to Edinburgh, stay there earlier and also one hour longer.

Well, we'll make the best of it. With the last internet in the rental car, I wrote to the car rental guy and received a direct response - fortunately, they will refund the amount.

The weather, on the other hand, was fantastic. We were able to sit on the balcony and on the deck, even play mini golf and ping pong on the high seas!

As a highlight, a specialty restaurant awaits us in the evening, namely Moderno Churrascerria. It starts with a great salad buffet with all sorts of antipasti and then... MEAT! You receive a card, with red and green sides, green means you want the waiter, red means you don't.

And then a skewer full of meat, which they cut according to your wishes.

It was great, and Bettina also got to know some new types of meat.

To end the day, there was a cocktail and a short music show.
