New Mexico Storrie Lake to Eagle Nest State Park

Sheltered camp is at Storrie Lake State Park. Next stop Eagle Nest State Park. Actually not the best pic. Wind wind wind curious to see if my tent will be still in one piece when I come back. Anyhow, since it was just an hour apart, I decided to detour. So nice ride through Carson forests. Taos was in the loop. When putting up the tent in nasty wind, I already saw the smoke from the huge wildfire to the east. Setting up the tent in the storm worked better than expected, but after a day now it is full of dust. Back to the wildfire. See pics: a big DC 10 flew in guided by a 2-prop airplane and dropped, I guess, 50 tons of chemicals to fight the fire. I have a great video too - too big to post, no pics.
