Point Reyes National Seashore

Point Reyes is located north of San Francisco and is a national seashore. The highlight of it all is the tule elk, which are actually more like deer. But that doesn't matter. So we decided to drive a little further north, and when we arrived, everything was still shrouded in fog. Since Bene didn't feel well, he stayed in the RV and I set off. I hiked towards Tomales Point, the small tip of the peninsula. The trail led straight through the tule elk reserve, and at first, you could occasionally spot an elk, but the sightings became more frequent the deeper I went. When I reached Tomales Point, the fog cleared and I could see a coastline dotted with waves. Unfortunately, I had to go back the same way. Once back at the RV, we decided to begin our long drive to Sequoia National Park.
