Banff National Park

Atejade: 20.04.2017

Located approximately 100 km northwest of Calgary, this Banff National Park is situated in the beginning of the Rocky Mountains. On the way there, they also rise impressively and covered in snow on.

It then went directly into the Rockies. Well, what should one write, report, and comment on photos?! You just have to see it for yourself. Simply incredible, this huge, massive spot of this world.

Crystal clear mountain lakes,

white snow-capped peaks,

massive rock walls...

There was also a cable car to the summit.

We had considered going up and doing Après-Ski with a wheat beer. But at €49 transfer fee per person, we decided not to and instead went off-road on gravel roads in search of elk and bear photography;

but unsuccessful. But we probably saw a wolf that caught something on the frozen lake, or his buddy was just in a deep sleep. We don't know.

We also didn't want to go over and ask the wolf. This is not the Serengeti Park here with safety fences in between and protective animal keepers. This impressive day came to an end. Tomorrow early shift with Jacob.

Ein Traum, das war damals unser Terrain und immer wieder soooo schööööön, wir konnten uns nie sattsehen.
