The coffee was delicious - as always in Portugal and Spain - and after giving the "cleaning crew" a window of 30 minutes, we returned to the room with great doubts considering the very limited cleaning materials. Great. The streaks on the mirror, the shelf, and the sink were now vertical instead of horizontal. 😳.... nothing was clean. So we took matters into our own hands with a towel and hot water.... this hotel will definitely receive a terrible review from us as farewell. At least the beds were freshly made now.... at least. We didn't let our mood be spoiled and explored the beautiful old town of Pontevedra: many old buildings were restored and well maintained. Beautiful street cafes invited us to linger everywhere. We let ourselves drift in dream weather and summery temperatures. We strolled through narrow streets and enjoyed the evening. Just like the rest of the city, because it felt like everyone who visited the city was out and about....
