We have already circled the island. This year, we wanted to explore the inland. As usual, we had no idea where to stay overnight, so we chose Gudhjem as our destination on the map. It is only 24km away from Rönnen, and we knew the campsite from previous years. We planned to start our day trips from Gudhjem.

The bike paths were mostly okay and led through lonely forests most of the time. There were a few challenging climbs...at least with the luggage.

When we arrived in Gudhjem, we found out that the campsite won't open until next week, which is when the holidays in Denmark begin. Due to the energy crisis, it's not worth it. Since it was already getting late and getting dark, we decided to stay here for the night.
