Off to Sanur 🚕

We arrived in Sanur very well 😊! At exactly 🕙 o'clock, a driver from Daniela's diving school was waiting for us in front of our resort and picked us up. He was super nice and had a very pleasant driving style👍! The journey took 1 hour and about 20 minutes. At the beginning, the road was relatively narrow and winding. It went up and down. Again and again jungle passages and small villages that we passed by 😁. After 45 minutes, the roads became wider, the traffic became much more busy again, and we had left the mountain landscape behind us 😊. Actually a shame, because the landscape here was great.

We were stuck in traffic repeatedly and mopeds were coming from everywhere🙈. But here everyone is calm. Honking is used as an overtaking signal, otherwise not! Even if someone blocks the road, there are no foul words here, no, they wait until it continues👍. Only once today, a car overtook a complete queue on the left shoulder 🤭. WE were sure that person is from Düsseldorf 😂!

What was sad again was the sight of a chicken transporter ☹️. The poor animals lie individually in very small cages on the bed of an old pick-up truck. They look completely exhausted ☹️. The chickens that sit on top poop on the chickens below them!

Finally, we arrived at the hotel. It is the last hotel for our trip in Bali before going to Singapore. It is very beautiful, right by the beach🤗, and has an amazing pool area! We are very impressed with the resort, but for me, breakfast also decides. It better be 😊 good!

After checking in, we stored our things in the room and went down to the beach first. It's very beautiful, but both of us were immediately sure; Amed was much more beautiful and somehow more dreamy🤗!

We lay down on the beach. Daniela listened to her audio book and I quickly felt bored. I have to say that, I can't lie quietly on a sun lounger and sunbathe 😂. So I annoyed Daniela until she went into the sea with me. There is seaweed floating in the water from time to time, which is a bit annoying. That's why I moved to the pool. It's really big and beautifully designed! What do my eyes see there, a service staff zooming around with skates, taking orders from guests and then delivering drinks and food.

After a relaxing lunch, we went to eat in the town 😊. There are really great locations here. Very nicely decorated with old furniture, really cool. We ate at Babymonkey. A super cool place with lots of monkey pictures and bamboo tubes on the walls. There were great sayings on wood hanging from the bamboo 😊. After eating to our hearts' content, we had a taxi driver take us to the night market. Help, it was so small and bad. I brought some fruit (dragon fruit) with me. I'm addicted to it here😁. We walked the entire way back to the hotel👍.

Tomorrow we're going to Kuta and Tanah Lot😊!
