We chose this route because we want some peace and quiet. Merzouga is very touristy and the people can be annoying and pushy as a result. I find it hard to deal with and I don't want to deal with it. Last night we found a cozy spot again. After breakfast, a Berber from the mountain came and sat in front of the bus and unpacked his merchandise. Of course, we bought a little something from him. But they are just completely rude with their prices. I just bought a decorated spice shaker with cumin for 5 euros. I hope he does something useful with it. We quickly fled because others were already approaching. And that in the middle of nowhere. Of course, it's also difficult to understand, we're driving through the country with this car and the people here are already living in poverty. But we can't save the world either. But having the foresight to see how well off we are and never forgetting that, that's important to me.
