Gorge du Verdon

We are staying in the mountains, the sunrise here is always an experience.

We are going to the Gorge du Verdon, also known as the Grand Canyon du Verdon, and that is no exaggeration.

Steep cliffs, spectacular views, winding narrow roads.

We then descended into the gorge with Schnuffi, the steep hiking trail, often having to carry her over steps and rocks. But it was worth it.

The bridge over the river is a real experience.

The river from the gorge flows into a reservoir. We found an overnight spot right by the lake and were rewarded with a dreamy sunset.

It was a beautiful day!
