Dream travel destinations

'Are you going on a world trip? Where do you want to go?' Every time this question is asked, my head fills with the most colorful images. Exotic destinations, typical travel countries, me with a sloth on my arm, us at colorful markets, on high mountains, in our hammocks on the beach...

We have one year, but the world is so big. So many different corners, cultures, possibilities...

'World trip blogs' repeatedly advised to have only about 5-7 countries firmly on the agenda. The rest would result from opportunities, tips/encounters along the way.

These are currently our 7 planned countries:

Canada (start of the world trip, flight is booked! :-))

New Zealand (6-8 weeks with a purchased car going everywhere)

Cook Islands (white beach, crystal clear water...)

Indonesia

Philippines

Vietnam (very excited about the cuisine and nature)

Nepal (trekking in the highlands)

Australia, Costa Rica, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Madagascar, Ethiopia (drink coffee), Georgia,... would also be nice

We are already very excited to see which countries and impressions we will return with :-).

UPDATE 14.04.2019:

We recently booked more flights! :) After our time in Canada, we will fly from Vancouver to Auckland, New Zealand. However, we will only be there for a relatively short time, as our flight to Rarotonga, Cook Islands departs from there! So we will be celebrating Cerina's birthday on a paradisiacal South Sea island! Jiha! Then we will return to Auckland and stay in New Zealand for a while. Until then!
