Day 6. Phone without problems

Hello everyone,

We are still near Elba at our camping site for 14€ and will stay here for another day. As good Germans, Tascha and I have properly sunburned ourselves. ☀️ (funny how we can take care of the kids, but not ourselves) 🤔

The beach here is also packed! 😉

By the way, I no longer have any problems with the mobile navigation. And a new revelation: Check your pockets before running into the sea. 😤 In short, the Mediterranean rendered my iPhone 5 unusable. 😭 Tascha just said that if I want a new phone, I just have to say it and don't have to break the old one right away.

We have considered for a long time whether we should go to Rome, but we have decided against it for 2 reasons:

1. Constantin seems to be doing really well with the sea air.

2. There is too much in Rome that we can't do with the dog. We can't even go to the Colosseum, let alone museums.

We'll probably fly there another time, maybe with Ryanair, without the dog 🐶.

So we will probably stay here until Sunday morning and then drive inland...towards Volterra.

Earlier this evening, we had dinner in the nearby village and were able to admire one of the most beautiful sunsets.

What else, oh yes, Lotte is crazy about waves 🌊. In the morning, we discuss how high the waves might be. Little surfer girl!!! :-)
