The 12-colored cliffs in Morro Branco

On one side the sea and on the other side huge cliffs. We didn't want to miss this unique beach, so we noted the small village of Morro Branco as a stop on our itinerary.

The journey turned out to be more complicated than expected. But the efforts were worth it.

We stood in front of a spectacular backdrop. Red and white cliffs stretch along the beautiful coast. The rocky area offers up to 12 different colors, which have been formed by thousands of years of erosion.

We wandered through the vast labyrinth of passages, canyons and caves. To cool off, we jumped into the ocean and enjoyed the beautiful colorful sight.

We could easily understand why this area serves as a popular filming location for several TV and film productions. The scenery is unique.
