27. Day 24 in Santiago

Today, I basically did nothing in Santiago. I mostly rested, although my feet were itching a little. I had a good breakfast this morning with scrambled eggs and cheese. Then I washed and dried my laundry. What a great feeling to jump into clean and warm clothes. After that, I briefly went outside, walked around a bit, and had a coffee. But then I went back to the accommodation because it felt like it had been raining all day. 

I have decided that I will probably take the bus back tomorrow to the place where I interrupted my Camino and continue from there. I really hope the weather cooperates and that the bus runs. If it doesn't work out or if I get blisters from the new shoes, then I will let it be. I will take it easy. If it doesn't work out, I will come back next year and walk the final kilometers. I have a Dutch guy in my room who rode his bike to Santiago. A cool guy. Otherwise, the accommodation is really great, and I will come back here when I am in Santiago again.

With that in mind, I will continue to rest and have a relaxing evening.
