Departure Australia

18.06. - 20.06.

Our last 3 days in Australia are approaching. Today we return our reliable and safe campervan in Cairns. After that, we take a flight to Brisbane and check in at the Summerhouse Hostel at night. There, we spend our first two nights ever in a dorm room and are pleasantly surprised by the mutual consideration.

In the city, we join a free guided tour. This takes us through the botanical garden, the university campus, the town hall, and past the casino. Afterwards, we have a meal at the waterfront promenade and return to the hostel. The next day, we take a free river cruise and visit the Queensland Museum after enjoying some delicious and juicy kangaroo meat. We explore a beautiful photo exhibition about the solar system, observe many native living and extinct animals in the various exhibitions. After that, we visit Jessi and Andre, who are currently working in Brisbane. We catch up with each other before driving to the airport to fly to Singapore.
