From Graz to Maribor

Today we are heading to Slovenia after breakfast. 

Before that, we stop in Graz at a motorhome workshop that repairs the skylight for a tip. We were really lucky. 

It's not hilly and the scenery is not really beautiful. In Maribor, you can see the first mountains and we find a place on the pretty Kecec motorhome park about 6 km from Maribor. It's small, green, and quiet here.

We hop on our bikes and ride to Maribor.

Maribor is a small but pretty town on the river Drava (Marburg on the Drava)

Here you can see the oldest grapevine in the world. 

A bell tower at the cathedral that is supposed to offer a great view of Maribor .... but unfortunately it is closed. 

Since Slovenian wines are said to be very good, we still have an alternative program🙂

In the evening we light the grill for the first time 

and end the day under the starry sky. It is supposed to be around 15 degrees cooler here at night, so we will sleep well again.
