21st day of dream tour

Last day of the dream tour 😩 but now my mind and heart are so full of Italian experiences that I have to sort it all out and reflect on it at home. I have seen, experienced, and enjoyed so much - now it's enough.

Today I strolled to Mercato Delle Cascine again, a good 45 minutes walk from Centro storico. Quite nice, the most interesting part was the food vendors, but otherwise many many commercial stands with the usual offers that you actually don't need - shoes, wallets, etc. But the walk along the Arno was beautiful.

Once again, soaked up the sun at Piazzale Michelangelo, the climb was just as exhausting as last time but the view from the top is as beautiful as it was three weeks ago. Said goodbye to Florence and Tuscany.

Down in the city, enjoyed the last ice cream of the day with a little melancholy and then back to the hotel - feet up.

Insight of the day: you can definitely get through the day with ice cream and Aperol 😉🙋‍♀️
