Koh Tao, Thailand

We returned to Sai Thong Resort in Koh Tao, where I had already spent a week 3 years ago. Resort means several simple bungalows with a hammock on a small veranda and a restaurant in an almost secluded bay. This for 20 francs per day with direct sea view.

We let our souls dangle for 8 days, discovered the different beaches on the island and took a taxi boat for a day, which took us to the best snorkeling spots.

Unfortunately, our friends had to go back to cold Switzerland or cold France ;-), so we were on our own again afterwards.

Our goal was another island west of Thailand. Koh Phayam is even smaller than the previous islands and less touristy. Unfortunately, everything was fully booked when we left, so we decided to take a train ride on the mainland and go to Prachuap Khiri Khan.
