We went on excursions in late summer and autumn, wherever and however we could. Almost always outdoors, often sporty (canoeing, draisine), sometimes cultural (Arp Museum Rolandseck, State Theater), always with a culinary component (beer garden, café, bistro). And fortunately, it worked out with school and in-person classes: from summer to autumn break, and from autumn to the last week before Christmas break - NO more home schooling. Happy are those of us who could work, whose companies remained stable or even made profits. Many friends & acquaintances had less luck ... short-time work, complete loss of income, performance bans, etc. ... And the crisis and danger are not over yet ...
