Samana

After the gym on Monday evening, we had reserved a table at Buffalo. The food was delicious, and the steaks were cooked perfectly. After dinner, we went back to the cabin. We watched magician Peter de Ville's show on TV. The theater was completely crowded. The alarm clock rang again at 6:20 a.m. for our next excursion and tendering in Samana. Unfortunately, the island greeted us with rain. We started in an open safari bus. It was cool that a lot of water had accumulated in the roof. In the first curve, I was already completely wet on the right side. We stopped at a beautiful rocky coast where we were served coconut milk. Then we went for coffee tasting. The hinterland of the island looks quite poor. We visited another beach where we could swim before returning to the ship. Unfortunately, it rained heavily on the return journey as well. Back on the ship, we had to take a hot shower before going to lunch.
