Day 4

I was cold. Ass cold. I hadn't checked the weather forecast and that was the punishment. So out into the cold at 3 o'clock in the morning and took out the adapter for the tailgate and closed the sliding windows. I also got out the 2nd blanket, then it worked😁 I woke up at 8 o'clock and stayed in bed for a long time. I struggled out of bed and had breakfast. Then I looked for a parking space for tonight. This was in Cannes-Ecluse. Near Paris, so still a good 4 hours drive. So off to the highway. These are mostly toll roads. What surprised me was that after overtaking, the French drove straight back to the right lane. There were no middle lane hoggers like in Germany👨🏻‍🦳 However, the highways are really up and down. As soon as you go downhill, it goes uphill steeper again. Like in the Pforzheim valley. Can't the French build bridges?🇫🇷 After my toll booth action, where I got a lot of coins back and some of them fell off, there was a lot of honking when I arrived in Cannes-Ecluse. The parking space looked like a roundabout.

Of course, there was only one with sunshine left. Well. I wasn't hungry yet and instead sunbathed and had 2 beers. After that, I was a bit tipsy🍻 So I took my bike and checked out the village, but since it wasn't very big, I rode to the next town. There I found a pump track and had fun🚲

I stopped in a bar and had a little beer there. After a 10-minute break, I cycled back. The shower afterwards was divine. I took out my cooker and cooked some dumplings with bacon and tomatoes again.
