MOMA

The next stop is the 'Museum of Modern Art' and it is right around the corner from our hotel. We simply checked out the classics and only spent a short time (2 hours) inside, which is actually a joke because there are 5 floors with the most famous and wildest artworks from all over the world, but that's going too far.

We simply visited van Gogh, Picasso, and Matisse. Then Jackson Pollock and Andy Warhol. There was a great audio guide for each of them, which you can comfortably listen to and learn great things about the painting and the artist.

At the entrance downstairs (first painting) there is a special exhibition: an AI was fed with all the paintings from the MOMA and it now creates a constant new creation of art. This art is absolutely worth seeing and you can't even imagine that it was 'calculated' and not designed by a human.

Tonight we have to pack because tomorrow morning we are taking the train to Washington DC. But before that, we will cruise through the harbor on a sailing ship. Pictures will follow...
