And firstly, things don't always go as planned...

Just yesterday, probably in the first culture shock of arrival, I was sure I would flee this morning. But after a restful night, it looked different. There are indeed many campervans here, but people are somewhere else, at the beach or quietly in their vans. So they don't bother much. And the weather was fantastic, the beach long and almost deserted, so I had a day at the beach!

A little walk, a little swim, a little lounging around on the beach, lots of reading - that's how holidays should be! I especially liked Mama Merganser with her two ducklings. They practiced swimming and diving and then eagerly devoted themselves to feather care. So cute!

So, now it's time to cook and then I still have two full days and three quarters of a day in the Baltic States!
