After I returned from Lapland, unfortunately I caught Corona and had to stay at home for a few days. But today, in the afternoon, I finally went out again and went to the sauna/restaurant with Maria and Julie, which is normally used as a location for weddings and big events. During the holiday week, there was a special event for ice bath (Avanto) and sauna. The sauna was very old-fashioned, it felt like stepping back in time to the Middle Ages, haha. The whole location was super cool, with a slightly shabby style. The local people who use the sauna there were really nice and approached us, asking questions and giving tips (something typical for Finns). The ice bath was colder than I had imagined, but I still found it to be a great experience ;) After the sauna, we had coffee and cake. PS: The days are getting warmer here, so the streets are full of people, which can be a bit challenging if you're clumsy like me ;)
