We now have a long drive ahead of us, but it will be worth it!! All put together and packed, we set off for Carnarvon. This is the fruit paradise of Western Australia, with huge mango, banana, papaya plantations, and vegetables flourishing in full splendor. The kids were amazed and indulging. After a big, and I mean really big, shopping trip, we continue to the cliff coast to see the blowholes. The sea is at its peak here, with meter-high waves crashing against the red cliffs, and through a large hole in the rock, the sea spouts up to 20 meters high, it's gigantic. But be careful
'KING WAVES KILL' !!!
After three hours of endless red dirt roads, the only excitement being that we had to cross deep water holes as the road was flooded in some places after heavy rain. The girls, of course, found this spectacular, screaming and rushing through. Now our Land Cruiser was no longer white, but red!!!! Jeanette's concern was whether our belongings and beds were wet or if the trailer held up???
Finally, we arrived in Naragloo, but we couldn't show the kids what a beautiful place we are in the Outback because it's pitch dark, only the starry sky is shining in its full splendor with the Milky Way, then we fall exhausted into our (fortunately dry) bed.
After an intense time of snorkeling, swimming, breathtaking sunsets, tree climbing, observing and marveling at surfers, cozy campfires, this part of our journey, with the most beautiful moments, comes to an end and we have to continue north.... Accompanied by humpback whales, who splash the sea with their enormous jumps.
