The big day: the big goal, the big dream!

The first ones start already at 4 o'clock🙄 But they're so quiet that you can hardly hear it. I'm ready shortly before 6 o'clock, Lukas is already ahead with Michael.

The first kilometers are unreal, it goes through the nighttime forest:

At 9:30 am we see the cathedral for the first time, about 5 km before Santiago:

Shortly afterwards we reach the entrance to Santiago de Compostella:

The last 5 km fly by!

And then at 10:30 am we made it, we are in front of the cathedral in Santiago: joy, joy, joy!

Jakobus is waiting for me in the cathedral, which is currently being renovated.

At 12 o'clock, the pilgrims' mass is waiting in San Francisco to give thanks.

Time flies, the Compostela must be collected, the official pilgrim certificate:

I meet Katherina from Le Puy again, who practically walked with me:

I transmit my prayer requests, which I should carry and present to Jakobus, with the request for acceptance.

During a pilgrimage meeting at the German pilgrimage center, I learn about Brigitte from Switzerland's mission to return home to her husband, the Camino made it clear to her, she is once again in good spirits.

And then it happens, my beloved wife and sons are with me!
