Day 9 - 11.06.2017 - Salo

Today, after breakfast, we went to Salo. It is the next town, but too far to walk with the children ;-) In Salo, we walked along the beach promenade and enjoyed the view. According to the guidebook, it is one of the most beautiful promenades on Lake Garda. The view was magnificent. We walked along the promenade to the church and then made a detour into the church. There was a service going on, but Jette wanted to rest, so we sat for a while and listened to the priest in Italian ;-) On the way back, we found a restaurant for lunch. There, we had a delicious summer fruit iced tea and pasta - except for Jette: she had ice cream. And we had 30 minutes of free WiFi - so we quickly checked our emails and WhatsApp messages.... Before heading back to the car, we made a detour to a nice playground where Jette had a lot of fun and laughed a lot with an Italian girl the same age - on the seesaw, on the swing. Before we left, we also went shopping at the Simply supermarket. Somehow, there were hardly any baby food jars for lunch. I found a double pack for a loose €3.51 and took it with me. Well, let's see how it goes and if you even like it ;-) Back at the mobile home, we actually wanted to go swimming, but Jette completely freaked out again :-o Around 5:30 pm, I decided to go to the pool again with Juliane... and Jette came along too. Juli started crying when I put her in the water and Jette only stood with her feet in because it was too cold for her. After a while, both girls had fun and splashed around a lot. For dinner, we fired up our disposable grill and grilled sausages and steaks... you can do that sometimes, even if it's not comparable to grilling at home - but it may also be because of the extraordinary sausages :-P
