Rain, wind and snow

Rain, wind and snow is perfect for our day today. After raining all night, we headed towards Downtown. We had breakfast alla Italiana at a small Italian bakery.

We continued towards Macys. A shopping center where Santa Claus was apparently present. There was a line of over 300m on the 8th floor, all children who wanted to meet Santa. Unfortunately, we couldn't get in without an appointment. So we couldn't meet him and could only drop our wish lists in the mailbox.

The windows of Macys were decorated, another highlight of the shopping center. They did not spare any decorations.

We continued towards the harbor. There is a museum for sea, air and space travel on a boat... the way there -> wet, cold and windy. We were caught in the rain halfway. Of course, we were all wet, too slow to unpack our umbrellas and rain capes, so we had to go through it. We warmed up at the Intrepid where we looked at the space shuttle and co.

We spent the evening in Madame Tussauds in these icy temperatures (we were at -10 degrees at one point). Under the motto Giada for President, Renzo being freshly in love, being eaten by the dinosaur, Irena going crazy, or Jessi being blown away by the wind, we collected some beautiful pictures.

Now it's time to get under the warm blanket.
