Before the island of Ilovik we had our shore leave in the morning. Micha and I couldn't resist the temptation and spontaneously decided, thanks to the great signage with corresponding time information, that we could also walk to the other side of the island with our sandals on the concrete paths. The little walk somehow turned into a hike over sticks and many loose stones, and suddenly we realized that the times didn't quite match reality - luckily our captain waited for us and to our surprise we were only 5 minutes later than planned.
After a stop in a small bathing bay, where there was actually a small sandy beach and many little hermit crabs, we finally had an overnight stay in the bay in front of the town of Rab, including bathing in the moonlight. To our great joy, our captain personally took over the grill in the evening.
After an early morning swim, we explored the town of Rab the next morning. At the next bathing stop, the sun started to hide behind the clouds.
We spent the evening in Lopar with our 'holiday moms' in a very good fish restaurant and took the little train back to the ship.
