After a rainy night, it finally stopped in the morning. As hoped, it is slowly getting better. Cloudy, 22°C. We are driving the Bruce Highway A1, most of the time passing through eucalyptus landscapes. Trucks and road trains often pass by. Overall, there is not much traffic on the roads, unlike the cities, which suits us very well and brings relaxed driving. We often see signs indicating kangaroos, koalas, or 'wild animals', but we have only seen cows. Agnes Water is the northernmost surf beach in Australia, it is several kilometers long, and we have a place to stay here. The neighboring town and beach '1770' got its name from Captain Cook's first landing in Queensland in May 1770. At the end of the footpath, at Round Hill Head, we had a beautiful view of the endless Pacific.
