Gray day on the west coast

With the 14th day, we have come a little closer to our final destination LA again. But what does destination mean after all? The journey was the goal on our road trip, and so far we have mastered it very confidently, including a few difficulties such as the fire in Yosemite National Park. But now let's talk about today: We started in the morning hours in cloudy San Francisco. We wouldn't lose this gray color of the sky for the rest of the day on our way to Monterey. The 17-mile drive was scheduled for the afternoon.

We drove through the villa district and strolled along the coastlines. The light at the end of the gray today was the campfire by the pool with grilled marshmallows.
