The first night in the rooftop tent was wonderful and we were woken up at 6:45 by the alarm, as we wanted to visit Sussosvlei very early today, which opened its gates to visitors at 7:30. Despite the early wake-up call, there was not enough time for breakfast. When we left the campsite, we were surprised by the long line of cars ahead of us, all heading to the entrance gate of Sussosvlei. After a short wait, we passed through the gates of the national park. We had about 60 km to Deadvlei, one of the attractions in Sussosvlei. However, after a few minutes of driving, we stopped to admire the picturesque nature in the early morning light. After an hour's drive and the first stretch of sandy road, we reached our destination. We walked the final meters to Deadvlei and there we saw the barren expanse between the red dunes, which could not be more beautiful with its dead trees. After taking enough photos, we returned to the car and had breakfast, then left this breathtaking place and drove back to the campsite, where another beautiful sunset awaited us in the evening. The conclusion we can draw after just three days in Namibia and Sussosvlei together is: 'You can take a photo every second here, and always get a new stunning photo opportunity.'
