Wairau Diversion, Blenheim

We have often wondered what "Weet-Bix" is, until we finally tried it for breakfast today: the famous Kiwi breakfast. We are very impressed with these wheat flake bars as they are very affordable, versatile, and delicious with milk and fresh fruit. Then we drive to Whites Bay, where we take a short hiking trail to a beautiful viewpoint in glorious sunshine, from where we can already see the North Island again. We are already reminiscing about the wonderful time here on the South Island and enjoying the last proper day. Afterwards, we go to the last campground on the South Island, as we are taking the ferry tomorrow. We use the time to plan the remaining days on the North Island.
