Storm, Tattoos, La Cucaracha Act 1

The days were filled with rain and we didn't do much except for staying indoors. So, one day, three of us from the hostel decided to brave the flooded streets and head to Chaweng Beach. We called a taxi driver who looked a bit surprised (as did his wife beside him), started driving but didn't get far because the roads were completely flooded and we could stand knee-deep in water. So, we turned around and went to Lamai Town instead. There, we had a good lunch and got the idea to get a Bamboo Tattoo, Thai-style. Now, I have a gecko on my left leg. :D

In the evening, we went out for dinner and I had seafood. Unfortunately, my stomach didn't agree with the seafood. I was up all night and had to visit the ceramic stand model multiple times. But that wasn't enough, I also had to deal with a 4cm cockroach. Persistent creatures. Great night! The next day, I stayed in bed and I don't think I need to go into detail about that.
