Tag 3: Agra / Dausa

We visited the Taj Mahal at sunrise and were allowed to admire it from the inside.

It is a truly impressive building (a mausoleum to be exact 😌☝️), with a mosque and a guesthouse on either side.

However, it was unpleasant that the entire complex, including the interior of the wonder of the world, smelled strongly of feces, causing tears to come to my eyes and forcing me to hold a cloth over my mouth and nose. 😷

On our further journey, we visited a step well and I was able to participate in a prayer ceremony.
