Today it starts.

First to Denmark and then Sunday evening on the ferry Hirtshals - Kristiansand to Norway.

Today we are aiming for the campsite Gronhoj near Lokken.

Our preparations for the planned 3 weeks have been diverse:

What about the weight? We are not allowed to weigh more than 3.5 tons. So we drove to the scale with a barely filled fresh water tank and all other packed items. Well, almost a perfect landing. The dog wasn't in yet. So if we weigh too much, it's the dog's fault 😀

What about the mosquitoes? We packed 3 types of mosquito protection: Autan, Mosquito stick company?, Nobite and something for the dog... let's see what works best.

What about the dog? In addition to the valid vaccination, it also needed a worm treatment registered by the veterinarian that can be at least 24 hours but at most 5 days old.

Voicemail recorded, out-of-office notices saved, company phone taken to the best colleague in the world, shopped, watering flowers arranged (I have the best friends in the world ❤️)

Then, of course, there were a few things that happened just now: the lawn mower robot keeps stopping, the mole is back, the fresh and waste water indicators in the motorhome aren't working, Hermes supposedly didn't find us, so the mosquito bite stick will be sitting in the carport from this afternoon... for 3 weeks.

So checked air, oil, and water, tried to stow everything without rattling, unsuccessfully 🙈🤣

I descaled the sensors in the fresh water tank, that seems to be working 👍🏻🙏🏻

Since it's currently only about 15-19 degrees in Norway, we've packed a lot of clothes, but also the SUPs.

We are optimistic and are incredibly looking forward to 3 weeks full of nature, relaxation, and breathtaking panoramas.
