Early this morning we drive to Florø, a small fishing village. Shortly after leaving, we marvel at the lighthouse Stabben Fyr.

Stabben Lighthouse (Norwegian: Stabben fyr) is a coastal lighthouse in Kinn municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The lighthouse stands on a tiny, 300 square meter rocky island in the fjord, about 3 kilometers northwest of the town of Florø. It was built in 1867, renovated and modernized in 1905, and automated in 1975. It was listed as a national monument in 1999.

The 52-foot square masonry tower rises at the seaward end of a 2+1 ⁄ 2 -story brick lighthouse keeper's house. The 4th order Fresnel lens (installed in 1905) is still in use. At the top of the tower there is a white, red or green light (depending on direction) that is obscured three times every 10 seconds.

Now we are heading towards Bergen through beautiful archipelago landscapes. It is a dream to sail so close to the snow-covered archipelago in beautiful winter weather. We are also lucky enough to see a sea eagle.

Our ship arrives in Bergen at 2.30pm sharp, then we go to the hotel, deposit our luggage, and head out into the snow-covered city of Bergen. A crowning conclusion for us, a really deep winter.😇😇
