29.10.18 - Surfers Paradise

Today, after a longer stay, we packed our stuff again. We really liked the hostel. The girls in our room were great. There were four of us and all Germans. So we could talk about our experiences. 😁

Since we still had time, we strolled through the shops one last time and then headed to the bus. The ride was not long... And then we crossed the state border to Queensland. There was a time change. We gained one hour. Apparently, each state in Australia decides which time zone it belongs to.

Unfortunately, the weather is not very nice today, and we arrived in Surfers Paradise in the rain. 🙄

The place doesn't seem to be much in the rain... I'm not very excited. It is very big and great for surfing and vacationing. Apparently, we live a bit away from the city center, but we still walked there and went shopping... It's just difficult when you always have to consider carrying everything you bought with you. 😅😜
