Barbaise – In the French Ardennes

After a hearty breakfast, we didn't start until lunchtime, just drive a few kilometers. During a shopping stop we discovered a fruit farmer in the French Ardennes on the app and after a call we had his confirmation that we could spend the night on his farm.

We arrived around half past six, the various pitches were shown on a display board, although we were the only guests. The operator's father drove around once and asked if we needed electricity or water or anything else, super hospitable. The seats also included a wooden table/bench combo. So we dined surrounded by meadows and apple trees, including the sunset and the rise of the full moon. It's nice outside!
