In the evening we were already on our way and after 17 days in Argentina we were to continue on to Brazil. But Chris had a visit to the hairdresser first on the agenda and thanks to the hairdresser's little knowledge of English the result was very satisfactory. Then we went to the Buenos Aires horse racing track, but there are no races there during the week and so we had no real assignment. Luckily the stadium of River Plate, the second big club in Buenos Aires, is only a few minutes away, so we went straight there.
There we booked a stadium tour that included a visit to both the museum and the interior of the stadium. During the 40 minutes, the guide kindly gave us some information in English as we walked through the stadium and the changing rooms.
Back at the apartment, we ate the last of our supplies before the Uber driver dropped us off at the airport on time.
This time, too, we didn't pay a cent at the counter for the checked luggage, which would have cost a good €80 online. After the usual departure procedure, the plane took off on time for Florianopolis. We arrived there at around 11:30 p.m., were picked up by an employee of the rental car company and were able to pick up the car. The short drive to our accommodation was very relaxed, even in the dark, as the island is also considered very safe. Unfortunately, when we got to the accommodation, we were greeted by a few mosquitoes and other small animals, which made the first night in Brazil a little restless.
