#22 My Birthday

Since it was raining on my birthday, we spend the day in the Tekapu Springs with three hot pools and two saunas with a view over the Tepako lake and it's surrounding mountains.

The real birthday activity was booked for two days later: a combo scenic flight to the Tasman glacier passing the highest mountain of NZ, Mount Cook. We flew one way with a helicopter and the return flight with a ski plane. What an experience! Blue ski, little wind and fresh, white snow on the glacier, it was amazing!
