Today, we explore the playground at the campsite early in the morning. Although the sun is shining, it is still quite cool and windy. The next few days are expected to be warmer, and it seems that we will have 30 degrees in Perth. We are looking forward to it, and I hope it's true. We have breakfast in the camper and drive to Busselton Jetty.
We don't get far because right next to the parking lot is a huge public adventure playground that not only makes children's hearts beat faster. The facility is really a dream. Everything is well thought out and harmonious. It takes us more than 2 hours until we can tear ourselves away again.
We walk along the Jetty on foot. One way is 1.8 km. A very nice walk. The kids are pretty exhausted from the playground. Elija is asleep in the carrier and the two older ones are chilling in the stroller. At the end of the Jetty, life-size whales are painted. It's really impressive how big the sea giants are.
Today we will continue driving to Bunbury. We check in at the Koombana Bay Campground. The Dolphin Center is right across the road. Tomorrow we want to see if we can spot any dolphins. Samuel discovered go-karts in the info brochure and can't wait to try them. We ask at the reception, but unfortunately, they can only be rented on weekends. The disappointment is great. After a short mourning period, Samuel can still warm up for a game on the lawn with Dad.
Today we have beef stroganoff with mushrooms, rice, noodles, and salad. We are all pretty tired from our great day at the playground!
