Jil Warnke: Hongkong Day 1

Finally, the big adventure began!

Hongkong is the first of our stops. 

That means an eleven hours flight and six hours of time shift. Though this exhausting flight was definitely worth it!

We met at Cologne central station at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Everyone was pretty excited, but couldn’t really realise that we will be taken off to another continent in a few hours.

It was time to kiss goodbye...

Finally, our big journey starts! Hong Kong is our first stop among many.

That means an eleven-hour flight and an additional six-hour time difference. Nevertheless, this long and strenuous flight has paid off.

We met at Cologne Central Station on Tuesday at 3:00 pm to take the train to Frankfurt. The excitement and anticipation were clearly noticeable, and no one could really believe that in just a few hours we would already be landing on a different continent.

The time of farewell had come…

After picking up our luggage at Hong Kong International Airport, we went to the hotel. We then had some free time until the evening. We took the hotel bus to explore the neighborhood and some of us went to the mall.

In the evening, tiredness overwhelmed us and we all fell asleep...😴

After collecting our luggage, we drove to the hotel. There, we had free time, which we used to eat something and explore the area.

In the end, we were all exhausted from the jet lag and fell into bed.
