First of all: Sorry for the late update - but we have arrived 😍! Finally landed in Brazil. The plane took off around 11 pm German time with a one-hour delay.
We didn't really get to sleep, but the entertainment program kept us in a good mood: And then we got closer to this huge city 🌆 After about 12 hours of flight, we reached the airport in Rio de Janeiro. And the first thing we did? 🚬! And of course, breathe in the fresh air. It was now 6 am - still 6 hours until check-in at the hotel. So we decided to take the bus to Botafogo/Rio de Janeiro. 1 1/2 hours later, we were in the middle of Rio, a little disoriented, but quickly we got help from a nice old lady who took us to the hotel in the morning 👵🏨! Our first stop is the ibis in Botafogo, 2 km from Copacabana and with a fantastic view of the Christ statue with a bright blue sky at around 27 degrees 🌞: Best regards to Germany to our loved ones ❤ BINE & MARIE 👭
