Maria Island

After a breakfast in the soothing morning sun, we depart from Triabunna by ferry to Maria Island at 9:00 am. As we approach the island, a joyful excitement arises. It was love at first sight! And it continues until we leave the diverse island. Various short walks lead us to beaches with crystal clear water, dizzying cliffs, gentle grassy hills, colorful rock formations, all surrounded by glorious vegetation teeming with wildlife. Kangaroos, pademelons, Cape Barren Geese, and wombats cross our path. What a day. Fantastic! The only thing that could make it better is less wind. But at least we didn't break a sweat while hiking 😊
